I don’t need any gifts, pray for injured children, says car fire hero Al Hashmi

Muscat: Mohammed Al Hashmi, the Omani hero who rescued two Jordanian children from a burning car at a fuel station in Sur, wants everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of the injured children.
“I did it without expecting anything in return. Almighty gave the power to act at that moment. Now, I don’t want any gifts, job offers or honouring. I only want everyone to pray for the injured children,” Al Hashmi told Times of Oman.
Al Hashmi has been honoured by petrol station bosses in Sur where his bravery saved the life of Sulaiman Mohammed, the three-year-old boy, and his four-year-old sister Gazal Mohammed.
On Tuesday, Sulaiman who suffered burn injuries, was transferred to Khoula Hospital by hospital ambulance, while his sister Gazal is still lying unconscious in the Sur hospital.
