Invest in Oman Forum to begin on Tuesday

Muscat: Invest in Oman Forum, being organised by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries will start on Tuesday at Grand Millennium Hotel under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said.
The two-day forum aims at casting light on promising investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman. The forum will discuss a range of themes including Oman Vision 2020, the economic and investment climate, Oman as a promising logistic and economic hub, investment opportunities in energy, industry, fisheries, and agriculture, the specialised economic zones and investment in service sectors, such as tourism, banks, real estate, information and communication technology (ICT).
There will also be an exhibition for the forum’s sponsors and organisations wishing to showcase available investment opportunities in Oman in different economic sectors.
OCCI will also host on Monday meetings of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries and its committees. An event will also be organized to hand over OCCI Award for Economic Research and Studies.
