The symposium recommended focusing on voluntary activities and the programmes associated with the basic needs of individuals. The symposium urged the mass media to play a more effective role in terms of acquainting members of the society with voluntary work.
The symposium recommended supporting the role of researchers for conducting further studies and research on voluntary work. It called for adopting strategic planning when conducting voluntary work and the objective of any voluntary work should be well defined to achieve the results.
