Muscat: Mall of Muscat – Maabela, Oman’s most Luxurious Mall, has launched an exciting 2-month long fun-filled football-themed activities campaign to celebrate the fact that the world cup is being hosted very close to the country.
An official inauguration of the campaign was done by the unveiling of a Giant Football at the mall by the hands of Rasheed Jaber the decorated Coach of Seeb Football club which recently made history by winning the AFC Cup title in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Speaking on the event Rasheed said “Its my immense pleasure to inaugurate The Mall of Muscat Fun fiesta as it celebrates the game in its true spirit and allows everyone to participate and enjoy this momentous event. “
The campaign includes fun activities for people of all ages and a dream for all football fanatics who wish to create memories of the world cup by taking pictures of the Giant Football and an Exhibition of the Great Footballers of the World. Fun has reached an elevated pitch in this 2-month long campaign with a football goal-scoring game, mini football and a 360 Camera booth for all customers to enjoy.
The strategic partners of the campaign include Oman Aquarium, Novo Cinemas, Matalan, Fabyland and Extreme Zone who will be offering participants the chance to be rewarded with exciting instant prizes from the mall retailers, as well as having a chance to enter a major online giveaway contest where 8 I phone 12’s are up for grabs. Participating stores contributing to the success of this event will also be offering many promotions and discounts to shoppers.
Commenting on this festival, Miss Moninder Brar, Acting Marketing Manager of The Mall of Muscat, said: “The Football Fun Festival is an interactive festival that accompanies the upcoming event, the World Cup is happening in the region for the first time, and we seek to make visitors live and interact with the event through the activities and events in the mall.
