Pipe damage leads to water shortage in parts of Oman

Muscat: A main water pipe burst in Maabelah, Seeb and residents of some areas will be affected overthe next 24 hours.
The pipe started leaking water as a result of ongoing construction work in the area, the Public Authority for Electricity said in a statement.
The maintenance team is on site and the repair could take 24 hours.
Al Maabelah, A’Sharadi, Al Ghushaiba and Al Manuma in Wilayat Seeb will be affected.
The PAEW advises residents of the aforementioned areas to take necessary measures to conserve water consumption.
